Soccer in St. Louis It makes me mad that St. Louis isn't recognized as the soccer power it is. It has a rich history, a glorious present and a promising future. In honor of Uncle "Pee Wee", who played in the game and Uncle Leo, who should have, this will be the portal to Soccer in St. Louis! Past St. Louis sent six men to the 1950 World Cup. They were Frank Borghi, starting Goalie; Charlie "Gloves" Colombo, Center half; Harry Keough, fullback; Gino Pariani, wing; Frank "Pee Wee" Wallace, inside wing; Bob Annis, did not play.
