Josie worked for a printing company for 25 years, then left and started her own business – she was a real woman’s libber.

In 1991 Sam died and she moved in with her daughter Cindy and son-in-law Steve.  She has one granddaughter, Stephanie, the love of her life! She lived with them for 17 ˝ years.  She continued to belong to St. Ambrose.

St. Ambrose was home to her.

She loved to cook. Her signature dish was her “canola cake” at Christmas.  Her favorite pastimes were visiting with her sisters and cousins, ironing, shopping, and sending greeting cards.

Her last words were to Stephanie☺, talking about buying her a car when she turns 16.

Her sister Jane died in October, Annie in January and now Josie on Valentine’s Day. The four sisters are together again.
