Jo has joined her beloved Sam and the two of them will reside in paradise forever.

Josie B. Castello

Castello, Josie B. (nee Baudo), earned her eternal reward on February 14, 2010 with Cindy at her side. Wife of the late Salvatore Sammy Castello (Castellese); loving mother of Cindy Castello (Steve) Patton; cherished Nana of Stephanie Elizabeth Patton; daughter of the late Vincenzo and Guissepina (Patania) Baudo of Sicily; sister of Sam Baudo (Ann Kircher) and the late Dominic Mimi Baudo, Mary Lange, M. Jane Rogers and Ann Wallace; sister-in-law to Mary LaFerla and Joseph Castellese and the late Marie Fisher, Vincent Castellese and Carmeline Dunn; Godmother to her Bridget Rogers Yates; aunt, great-aunt, cousin and friend to many. Josie grew up on The Hill and was so very proud of her Italian heritage. Her nickname was Bert, her middle name being Bertha, given to her by her baby brother Sam. Also known as One of the Baudo sisters, as the girls were always together. Together they are again. Their tie was so strong that after Mary recieved Jane in October they took Ann in January and there was no way Josie would be left behind. On the day representing love, Valentine's Day, Josie went to her Savior, her Sammy and to her beloved sisters. Memorial contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) or to St. Ambrose Catholic Church. Services: Funeral from KUTIS AFFTON Chapel, 10151 Gravois, on Thurs., Feb. 18, 9:15 a.m. to St. Ambrose Catholic Church for 10 a.m. Mass. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday 4-9 p.m.
